Arriving by flight to Ambergris Caye
Your tropical escape begins with a scenic 15-minute flight from Belize International to San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye. We work directly with Maya Island Air to secure convenient flight times that match your international arrival. Watch the stunning Caribbean coastline unfold beneath you as you approach the island.

Arriving by Water Taxi
Want to travel by sea? Water taxi ferries arrive in San Pedro Town, giving you the choice of your preferred ferry company. After confirming your booking, just send us your international flight and water taxi details. Our reservations team will coordinate your shuttle timing with your arrival, making your journey smooth and easy.

Look for our team members with the Sandy Point Resorts logo sign at either the airport or water taxi dock. We're here to make your first moments on the island comfortable and easy to navigate. While we handle your arrival details, our concierge team can help you start planning your island adventures.
How to Get to Your Resort
Van shuttles and scenic boat rides are used for resort transportation. This is only available on arrival and departure when planned in advance. There is a surcharge of US $30 per person for round-trip transportation from San Pedro Town to our northern resorts. These are Belizean Cove Estates, Coco Beach Resort, Belizean Shores Resort, and X’tan Ha Resort. This is for arrival and departure transfers between these resorts and San Pedro Town. Check-in at the resorts is 3 pm. Resort transportation leaves every hour from 10 am-7 pm.
Arrival Van Shuttle Transfer
Our welcome team will walk you to the shuttle for your trip to the resort. The ride takes about 25-30 minutes with stops at Belizean Cove Estates, Coco Beach Resort, and Belizean Shores Resort. Your driver, who many returning guests know well, shares local tips while you enjoy your first look at island life.
Departure Van Shuttle Transfer
Stop by the front desk to set up your departure transfer anytime within 48 hours of check-out. Shuttles to San Pedro Town run every hour from 6 AM until 11 AM, matching up with local flight and water taxi times - you'll need to be there an hour before your departure. Need an early transfer? Just let us know. Please note that the resort check-out time is 11 AM. We'll take care of the details while you enjoy your last moments in paradise.
